Project Description

The redevelopment of the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital is a four-year project which commenced construction in 2014.  The project includes a mix of new build, the refurbishment of existing facilities and the partial demolition of the buildings between the two central tower blocks.  It will also include the construction of new connecting link bridges, providing five fully-integrated and future-proofed floors.

Our Role

ISG Projects was appointed by the Department of Health to carry out a review of this complex undertaking, being delivered under a construction management model.  ISG Projects was subsequently also engaged by the client to assist the Project Director and the Leadership Team in providing guidance on delivering the project within the budget, time and quality parameters established at the project outset.
